As part of the Xacra Collection, the Ribeira uses a technique that dates back to the first century, during the era of the Romans in Hispania. To create the Xacra collection we partnered with the last artisan alive who still masters this technique, preserving the craft and preventing this art from extinction. The artisan respects the original technique and the same indigenous clays as his ancestors to maintain the characteristic texture and finish.
The Ribeira vase evokes the grand nature of all of the riverbanks in the Ribeira Xacra region, from where the technique originates. Ribeira, the most prominent piece in the collection, is a statement for any space. Alone as a centerpiece or combined with the smaller pieces, the Ribeira will capture your attention.
