• SIL •
As part of the Xacra collection, the Sil uses a technique that dates back to the first century, during the era of the Romans in Hispania. To create the Xacra collection we partnered with the last artisan alive who still masters this technique, preserving the craft and preventing this art from extinction. The artisan respects the original technique and the same indigenous clays as his ancestors to maintain the characteristic texture and finish.
The Sil vase is named after the river that carves the most famous deep gorge of winding bends of the Ribeira Xacra region, from where the technique originates. Sil, the most symbolic piece in the collection, emerges by itself in any space with its distinctive shape, elevating any little foraged flora to another level.
